Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using ReadyTab ("the Extension," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including Free users and Pro subscribers. ReadyTab is operated by an individual developer based in Switzerland.

2. Description of Service

ReadyTab is a premade browser extension that replaces the new-tab page in Chrome and Firefox with a productivity dashboard. It is a finished software product delivered instantly — no custom development or made-to-order work is involved.

Features include:

• Workspace management with groups and links
• Spotlight search across workspaces
• Built-in themes and a theme editor
• Import/export of workspace data
• Pro: unlimited workspaces, cloud sync, companion app launcher, password-protected workspaces

Features marked "Coming Soon" are not yet available and are subject to change.

3. Accounts and Licenses

Free Tier

The Free tier is available at no cost and includes the features listed on the Pricing page. No account is required for Free usage.

Pro Tier

Pro is available as an annual subscription ($39/year) or a lifetime license ($59). Upon successful payment:

• You receive a license key granting access to Pro features
• Licenses are personal and non-transferable — one license per person
• Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Lifetime licenses grant access to the current version and future updates indefinitely

Account Registration

Cloud sync requires creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension for redistribution
• Share, sell, or transfer your license key to others
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent license verification or Pro feature gates
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the cloud sync API

5. Intellectual Property

ReadyTab and all associated code, design, and branding are the property of the developer. Your license grants you the right to use the Extension; it does not transfer ownership.

You retain full ownership of your workspace data (links, groups, configurations). We do not claim any rights over your content.

6. Privacy

Your use of ReadyTab is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. Key points:

• 14-day money-back guarantee for all paid plans
• Annual subscriptions cancelled after 14 days are not refunded for the remaining period
• You can cancel auto-renewal at any time; Pro access continues until the period ends

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

ReadyTab is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted
• It will be compatible with all browser versions or future browser updates
• Cloud sync will be available 100% of the time

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ReadyTab.

Maximum aggregate liability: the total fees paid by you to ReadyTab in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Change pricing for new subscriptions (existing subscribers are not affected mid-period)

If we discontinue the Service entirely, Pro subscribers will receive a pro-rated refund for unused subscription time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swiss courts, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify Pro users by email of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
