COLLABORATIVE BOARD

Let trusted teammates contribute.

Create named edit keys for people or groups. Everyone works from the connected board in ReadyTab, and edits save automatically.

  • Replace or revoke each key independently
  • No paid editor seats
  • Conflicting saves are held for review
  • Local recovery keeps pending work until it is saved or discarded
CURATED BOARD

Maintain the resources your team follows.

Leave editing off to give subscribers a board they can view and follow. Update the resources as tools, projects, and processes change.

  • Read-only access by default
  • Updates appear in subscribed boards
  • Publish a separate web snapshot for people outside ReadyTab
From your workspace to a shared board

Build it. Share it. Keep it useful.

  1. Build your starting board.

Install ReadyTab for free. Add links, organize groups, and include text blocks or step guides. Try the layout before choosing a paid plan.

  2. Host it with Full.

Open Settings → Spaces → Sharing → Live boards and choose + New live board. Select your source workspace, then share the board’s access token and any password. Add named edit keys for teammates who will contribute.

  3. Bring your team in.

Teammates install ReadyTab and choose Join board under Sharing → Live boards. They enter the access token and any password, then use Enter edit key to start editing. Everyone keeps their own personal spaces alongside the connected team tab.

A few practical details

Know how your team’s board works.

Who needs a paid plan?

The board owner needs Full: CHF 25/year, or CHF 52.99 for Full lifetime under the cloud-service terms. Viewers and collaborators use Free. Full includes the owner’s personal sync, publishing, and shared-board hosting; it does not give each collaborator their own paid plan.

Does everyone need the extension?

To follow or edit a shared team board, yes. Teammates need ReadyTab and the board’s access token; editing also requires its edit key. A separately published public web board is read-only and opens in a normal browser without the extension.

How quickly do teammates see changes?

Edits save automatically. The visible shared board checks for updates every 30 seconds and when you return to it. Conflicting saves are kept for review. Saved on this device means sharing is still pending; wait for Saved to know the shared board has received your changes.

Are my personal notes shared?

Text blocks placed on the board are shared. Notes opened with the Notes button are personal and are not included in team board updates.

Can I change who can edit?

Yes. Give each person or group a named edit key, then replace or revoke that key independently. Everyone using that key loses editing access; other keys keep working. Key names are labels, not accounts, and anyone holding a key can use it. Revoking editing does not remove access to view the board.

What happens if I close the tab before a save finishes?

Pending edits are saved on your device for recovery after a reload or interruption. Recovered changes need your review before sending. Recovery drafts are removed after a confirmed save or explicit discard; they do not become a saved history. If local recovery fails, ReadyTab warns you to keep the tab open and export your changes.

What is the difference between a shared board and a public page?

A shared team board stays connected inside ReadyTab and can allow editing. A public page is a read-only snapshot you publish for anyone with its link. Publish an update to refresh that snapshot. A share code is different again: it gives someone an independent, editable copy.

Can I try ReadyTab before paying?

Yes. Build and customize your own local boards for free, or join a board someone has shared with you. Choose Full when you’re ready to host boards for your team. Read the full FAQ.
